What is Reiki?

Reiki is an energy healing technique in which a Reiki master (who has undergone formal training in this healing art) uses gentle hand movements with the intention to guide the flow of healthy energy (what’s known in Reiki as life force energy) through the client's body to reduce stress and promote healing.

History of Reiki

History of Reiki

Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is an ancient Buddhist practice of manual healing therapy that was rediscovered in Japan by Mikao Usui in the mid 1800s. It has become increasingly popular in the United States during the past few decades and is used for treating various physical, and emotional problems. It is based on the belief that life is dependent on a universal, nonphysical energy.

What Is Distance Reiki?

What Is Distance Reiki?

Distance Reiki is a form of energy healing that allows Reiki practitioners to send healing energy to a recipient who is not physically present with them. This means that the recipient can receive the benefits of Reiki healing from anywhere in the world, as long as they are open to receiving the energy.

In Distance Reiki, the practitioner connects with the recipient energetically, usually through visualization or intention, and then channels Reiki energy to them. Many people find that Distance Reiki can be just as effective as in-person Reiki, and it can be particularly useful for people who are unable to receive in-person treatments due to distance, illness, or other limitations.
